“ It was my first time here while visiting Charlotte, and the place is a 10/10. First impressions are very important and this place did not disappoint. I had the windisch riesling spatlese wine, which was sweet but not too sweet. Perfect for me, and the pasta jambalaya was really good. I got no onions as I do not like them, and not only were they able to accommodate, but it was still tasty. I would definitely go back. ”

Our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise, had a little wait to be recognized but they were busy , our server was awesome after that wait though, she was very helpful with recommendations, food was very good , homemade vegtable soup that was awesome, also enjoyed the calamari, very different with strips , also had the Italian sandwich, hope to be back soon , 5 stars for the best variety of wine and homemade soup in area, thank you! ”

“ After my poor experience of trying to order multiple bottles of wine previously, we decided to come here for dinner recently. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside. They are dog friendly on the patio, too! What we got: Wine: *Glass of Moscato - a nice, sweet wine, but not up there with my favorite moscato wines. Appetizers: *Fried Goat Cheese and Apples - not much to say about this other than it was SO good! *Crab Cakes - Our favorite crab cakes come from a local food truck, but these are pretty close to those! Lots of crab and fantastic flavor. Entrees: *Pasta Jambalaya - I got it without the shrimp, but I enjoyed this dish with the chicken, sausage, and veggies. There is a very similar cajun pasta at my favorite restaurant in Charlotte, and I found myself comparing and wanting that one instead. This was a good dish, but I'd get something different next time. *Beef Rib Pasta - this was a special of the evening, but my husband got this and it was very good. I liked his pasta dish more. Overall, we really enjoyed our meals and were very surprised by our experience. Food and service was excellent. The food (and wine) is a bit pricey, so we won't be regulars, but we will definitely come back soon! ”

“ Tried the chicken sandwhich, tuna, fish tacos, and crab cakes. Food was absolutely delicious. Try the french fries! Wine selection was great and there’s something for everyone. Service was amazing. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Atmosphere was a bit bland, but it does it’s job. Would come again! ”
“ Went to the Wine Shop for a quick lunch! Sat outside and got chilly quick so we decided to eat inside. We got a glass of wine and a beer The wine was great and beer was cold. I Ordered the hamburger with BBQ on it and slaw. Side salad. Also ordered Fried Goat cheese and apple salad. The burger was one of the best hamburger I have ever had. It had a pulled pork on it with a mustard bbq sauce and Cole slaw and was a great surprise. Total will get it again when I go back next time!! She loved her salad cleaned her plate witch is rare for us. I cleaned my plate there was nothing left.They have a cigar section so stop by and get one! When you Go take all your friends and family. Wine Shop is the place to go for dinner, lunch, or just a glass of great wine. Also is a great gift for the holidays or birthday gifts! They have a great section to wrap it up how ever you need!
